Scholarships

Ten students. Ten thousand dollars each. Every single year.

The Alpine Bank Community Scholarship is awarded to ten graduating high school seniors each spring who have demonstrated academic commitment, community involvement, and financial need. It is renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study.

We've awarded scholarships every year for over two decades — to students going on to four-year universities, community colleges, trade programs, and military service. The award follows the student, not the institution.

Who can apply

The basic eligibility requirements for the Alpine Bank Community Scholarship.

Graduating High School Seniors

Applicants must be on track to graduate from an accredited high school in one of the communities Alpine Bank serves.

Community Involvement

We look for students who have given back — through volunteering, work, leadership, or service to their school or community.

Demonstrated Financial Need

We prioritize applicants whose families would struggle to fund higher education without assistance. Need is verified through FAFSA or equivalent documentation.

Academic Commitment

We don't require a specific GPA, but we do look for students who have taken their education seriously and shown they're ready for the next step.

$10,000 per year, renewable for up to four years

Usable at any accredited institution — university, community college, or trade school

Paid directly to the institution on the student's behalf

Renewal requires maintaining a 2.5 GPA and full-time enrollment

No requirement to bank with Alpine Bank — ever

Open to students regardless of citizenship status, as long as they qualify for federal or state aid

Recipients are invited to an annual recognition event at Alpine Bank

Past recipients have gone on to careers in medicine, teaching, engineering, and public service
