We believe community involvement shouldn't be something employees have to choose between and their paycheck. Every Alpine Bank employee — full-time and part-time — receives paid volunteer time each year, and we actively encourage them to use it on causes they care about.
Employees volunteer in local elementary, middle, and high schools teaching money basics — from saving and budgeting to credit scores and student loans. Over 40 employees participate each year.
Regular volunteer shifts at food banks, shelters, and community kitchens across every region we serve. Teams sign up together, and branches coordinate their own ongoing commitments.
Senior employees serve on boards of local nonprofits — bringing financial expertise and governance experience to organizations that need it. Alpine Bank supports the time commitment as part of the role.
Employees mentor students through local Big Brothers Big Sisters programs, career days, and internship pipelines — helping young people see what a career in banking or business can look like.
From charity 5Ks to holiday food drives to park cleanups, Alpine Bank teams show up at community events throughout the year — not just as sponsors, but as participants.
